Why Join Marching Band? 2011 - 2012 "Earth, Wind and Firebird" Please carefully review the Band Calendar for all rehearsal and performance dates and times Students are required attend all band camp rehearsals. Important Information on Required Physicals for Marching Band

Marching Band is a rare mixture of artistry and athleticism which requires students to be in top physical condition. All members of the Mountain View Marching Band are required to have a completed Virginia High School League Physical Form on file prior to the beginning of August band camp. These forms are available from your school's athletic office or may be downloaded here. They are valid for one full school year for all athletic activities. Parents may choose to take advantage of the SCPS sponsored Sports Physicals. These $10 Sports Physicals will be available at Colonial Forge High School on Thursday, June 9, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Call 658-6115 for information.
